Calculator 2.0

Price every route. Set every margin. Win every tender.

Price every transport lane stretch by stretch with the cost components rail freight actually runs on: locomotives, wagons, personnel, traction, tracks, services, foreign currency. Transfer the result straight to the offer. Keep all your calculations in one place.

KEY FEATURES

The offer document, the way rail sales actually builds it.

A standardized offer document with your logo and your design for all your offers. Add rail-specific building blocks, choose the language and send the offer directly from the system. Professional appearance towards your customers guaranteed.

TEXT BLOCKS

The building blocks rail contracts need.

Draft every offer specific building blocks rail freight contracts actually need: customer master data, lane and service scope, standard clauses and surcharges, payment terms, validity periods. Not a Word document fought into shape, not a copy-paste from last month.

Variables auto-fill from live ROM data: the customer, the lane from the opportunity, the price from Calculator module, the validity date from the offer. Sales drafts; the document writes itself around it.

Customer master, lane and service scope, surcharges, payment terms, validity periods: all native, no custom fields needed.

Variables populate from the customer record, the opportunity, the Calculator result. The same number on the offer and on the underlying calculation.

Standard clauses and disclaimers reused as text blocks, insert once, version everywhere. Sales drafts faster; legal sees the same wording every time.

OUTPUT

Branded, multilingual, signed-ready.

Branded headers and footers per legal entity. Multilingual templates, the languages your customers operate in. A signed-ready document generated in minutes, not days, with the same quality of offer every time, in every language, across every entity in the group.

Customers receive the offer in their own language, on the brand of the entity they actually buy from. The hand-off to approval, email, or contract management is one click away.

Per-entity branding

Headers, footers, logos, and legal terms configured per legal entity. Group offers look like the entity that issued them, not the parent.

Multilingual templates

Templates in the languages your customers operate in. The same source data renders in DE, EN, FR, IT, PL and the others your business runs.

Signed-ready, in minutes

From the building blocks to the PDF the customer signs: minutes, not days. Approval process can be triggered if needed for specific offers.

LIBRARY

One library. Every template, text block, layout.

Use as many templates as you like and store them in your library. Offer templates for recurring transports, text block library, email designs, multiple offer documents - find the perfect match for every use case.

Edit wording, headings, and clauses in the admin section, not for each offer separately. Legal owns the master clause; sales picks from it. The same library serves the offer document, the cover email, and other admin data.

One template per tender type, one per legal entity. Block train, single wagon, intermodal, services, asset rental, each with the right structure.

Reusable text blocks for clauses, disclaimers, T&C, payment terms. Version-controlled; the same wording every time.

Wording, headings, and clauses configure directly in the UI. No IT-background needed.

Which tender types and template structures are supported?

Block trains, single wagon loads, intermodal load units, services, and asset rental, each with its own template structure and clause set. One template per tender type, one per legal entity. New templates configure in the UI by your team, not by a release cycle.

Which languages does Offer Creation support?

Multilingual templates render the same source data in the languages your customers operate in. Each template can be maintained in multiple language versions side by side. New languages add as your business grows; the customer record carries the preferred language and the document defaults to it.

How does per-entity branding work in group setups?

Each legal entity carries its own branded headers, footers, logos, and AGB / terms. Group offers look like the entity that issued them, not the parent. Some customers run up to six legal entities on this architecture today, each with its own brand surface and contract terms, all on one ROM instance including a holding overview.

Which data fields auto-fill from the rest of ROM?

Customer master data from the CRM, lane and service scope from the opportunity, the price from Calculator module, validity dates from the offer, and any custom field you’ve configured. Variables stay linked to the source, change the customer record, the next draft updates automatically.

What happens when the offer is won?

Signed offers flow to the Transport Management System for execution and to Purchase & Tender Management for sub-tendering procurement. The signed PDF and underlying calculation stay linked on the customer record. Start with Offer Creation standalone or as part of ROM.
